The brief I would like to pursue

I would like to do brief number 2 which is producing a promotion package for a new film, to include a teaser trailer, together with two of the following options , a website homepage for the film, a film magazine front cover featuring the film or a poster for the film. I would like to do this brief because It gives me the chance to research into horror films which is the genre I am most interested in and I can also do some practical work which would be producing the teaser trailer which sounds very interesting and fun to do.

Pitch

The genre of the brief I have chosen would be Horror because this is what I have the most interest for as I find them the most interesting because they always have some kind of mystery to them and always have a gripping story line................

AS COURSE REFLECTION

As the biggest part of my AS work in media I produced a music magazine, we also did work like analyzing TV dramas and learning about newspapers, e.g. the distribution and the marketing etc.. My favourite part of my AS course in media was analyzing the TV drama clips because even though this was vital preparation for the exam it was still made enjoyable and we studied a range of different TV dramas including period dramas, soap operas etc, which made the studying and understanding more diverse. My second favourite part of my AS course in media was producing my music magazine because it was something practical I could do and I enjoyed it because it included a range of different elements like you had to take your own pictures to be featured in your magazine and you had to choose a specific genre and research into that genre. I chose Indie/rock as I felt this would be the most easiest one to do, this is the end outcome of my product.
